ABOUT ABOUT

Description

The 41st Annual Taste of Huntsville will continue the tradition of providing "Tastes" of the fine foods served at restaurants throughout Madison County.  With over 50 restaurants and beverage vendors participating, “The Taste” not only provides a delight for your taste buds while restaurants compete for awards in food presentation and taste; but more importantly,  the event raises money for two local charities.  “The Taste" will take place at the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville at 700 Monroe Street on Thursday, October 15th  5:30pm- 8:00pm.

Tickets are available in advance for $30 or at the door for $35. Advance tickets may also be purchased at the Von Braun Center box office or the Convention and Visitors Bureau.  Purchase our VIP Group Table Package for $350 and receive ten tickets and reserved seating in our VIP area.   Food and Beverage Samples are included in ticket price.  It's A Space Themed Culinary Adventure!

Proceeds from this years event will go to support:

KIDS TO LOVE :

The mission of the Kids to Love Foundation is to meet the needs of foster children while they wait for permanent homes.  Since 2004, the Kids to Love Foundation has directly impacted the lives of more than 100,000 foster children.  Lee Marshall began the Kids to Love Foundation in 2004.  A former foster and adopted child herself, Lee is committed to advocacy on behalf of foster children everywhere. The ultimate goal of the Kids to Love Foundation is to find “forever families” for children who are waiting to be adopted.

WEDC FOUNDATION :

The vision of the WEDC Foundation is to create a legacy of strong and confident women who will share their energy and influence, resulting in economic independence for themselves and others. The WEDC Foundation helps women make their dreams of economic independence come true and with approximately $235,000 in scholarships given to over 100 women over the last 15 years, the program is unique – they give much more than money. Financial assistance, mentors and professional development programs are provided to women in Madison, Marshall, Morgan and Limestone counties of Alabama who are driven to overcome daunting hurdles and obtain a college degree or a technical training certificate.

We look forward to seeing you at the TASTE OF HUNTSVILLE !
