ABOUT ABOUT

Description

The 40th Annual Taste of Huntsville will continue the tradition of providing "Tastes" of the fine foods served at restaurants throughout Madison County.  With over 50 restaurants and beverage vendors participating, “The Taste” not only provides a delight for your taste buds while restaurants compete for awards in food presentation and taste; but more importantly,  the event raises money for two local charities.  “The Taste" will take place at the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville at 700 Monroe Street on Thursday, October 16th  5:30pm- 8:00pm.

Tickets are available in advance for $30 or at the door for $35. Advance tickets may also be purchased at the Von Braun Center box office or the Convention and Visitors Bureau.  Purchase our VIP Group Table Package for $350 and receive ten tickets and reserved seating in our VIP area.

Proceeds from this years event will go to support:

CAJA:

The Court Appointed Juvenile Advocate (CAJA) program of Madison County provides screened, well-trained court-appointed volunteer advocates to work on a one-to-one basis with abused and neglected children who enter the juvenile court system. The role of the CAJA volunteer is to conduct independent investigations regarding the child's situation and to submit written reports to the court. CAJA volunteers work to see that these children do not become "lost in the cracks" of the legal and child welfare systems. The sole purpose of the CAJA volunteer is to ensure that the best interests of the child are advanced.
